Hunter Rich
Executive Director

Hunter Rich is an enthusiastic, curious, and driven young professional, eager to contribute to the ongoing journey towards a more just and prosperous society. After receiving degrees in Business and Journalism from American University, Rich joined the nonprofit sector with specific interests in education and equitable resource allocation.

As Executive Director of Families4Families, he oversees the orchestration of impactful initiatives, manages relationships with F4F’s Board of Directors, nonprofit partners, donors, and grantors, and works closely with student leaders and volunteers. As F4F continues to expand, Rich is spearheading outreach efforts to school districts across the United States, ensuring Families4Families' mission reaches every corner of the country.

Rich has been selected to several Washington, DC-based leadership programs including Transformation Leadership Institute and the prestigious Leadership Greater Washington's Rising Leaders Program.

Beyond the office, Rich enjoys training for triathlons and ultramarathons, fishing, backpacking and golfing with his fiancée Sarah. He also plays live music, and donates 10% of all proceeds to charitable organizations.


Shariah Dunwell
Program Coordinator

Shariah grew up between the Washington D.C. area and Connecticut and went to Coppin State University as a collegiate tennis student-athlete. Throughout her career at Coppin, Shariah tutored English and did volunteer work with local Baltimore disadvantaged youth to foster a bridge between academics and athletics. Shariah studied Business Management during her undergrad and is working toward her MBA at the University of Baltimore. Before joining Families4Families in October 2022, Shariah worked as a Project Coordinator in D.C.

Shariah is excited to be a part of the positive impact that Families4Families has on the journey to help address hunger insecurity.
