How it Works

Supporting Families in Need

Step 1.jpg

1

A group of Middle and/or High School students create an F4F Student Club at their school or in their neighborhood.

Step 2.JPEG

2

Every F4F Student Club is paired with a carefully vetted local nonprofit organization or “partner organization.”

Step+3.jpg

3

The partner organization identifies families that are in need of groceries and other essential items.

Step+4.jpg

4

The F4F Student Club collects groceries (Bags of Basics) and other essential items (Extras) that their organization’s families need.

At our final food drive, Mother’s Day weekend, we gave special cupcakes to all the mothers and grandmothers working hard to provide for their families. One woman – who I will never forget – literally broke into a dance and gave me a massive hug. After that, I can say with complete certainty that she’s part of my community.
